PEXM2-130 is powered by ASMedia ASM2824 switch allowing you to access two drives at the same time. It does not rely on PCIe bifurcation supported by CPU, PCH, or motherboard. It supports non-bifurcation motherboards.PEXM2-130 allows you to access the SSDs individually or to use them in a storage pool for OS or the 3rd party software RAID configuration.Compatible with PCIe 3.0 motherboards and is backward compatible with PCIe 2.0 and PCIe 1.0.

Q: Can I use it as boot drive?

A: The motherboard BIOS must support NVMe SSD and support booting from PCIe in order to boot from a M.2 NVMe SSD on PEXM2-130.
